OUR STORY

Like most products, our products started out from a need as well.

Our founder, Jai Mittal, adopted two street dogs in a very rainy town in Dehradun, India. He relentlessly looked all over for a home for his two little puppies, to keep them safe from rains, winters, the scorching summers, and something that they could not tear apart! Our founder, being a hotelier and a protector of a huge forest in the Himalayas, had been constructing humongous tents for his hotel guests. Since he didn’t find any product in the market which suited the needs of his puppies, he scaled down his 600sqft tent to a 2sqft tent for them. The tent worked beautifully through all weathers! Since then his friends from Dehradun had been requesting him to make one for their dogs, but he did not have enough time to do so. 

As the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world in 2020, his team of hotel vendors had no work, nor any money to feed their families. In such times of adversities, Jai thought of finally giving into his friend’s request and starting creating tents for her dogs. Soon the tents were shared on Instagram, and then there were no stopping of orders! They literally came from all over the country, Lucknow, Delhi, Bombay, Pune, Mysore and many more cities.

This prompted Jai to quickly set up shop, make the tents modular and come out with two ranges namely, the Rescue and Glamper segment. The non-profit rescue segment aims at housing the vulnerable streeties all over India, with the support of various kind-hearted souls who already help feed and take care of them. The rescue segment has helped reduce the medical bills of rescuers by almost 50 percent. It has been Jai’s mission to house at least 50 street dogs a month, selling them at non-profit rates.

Our luxury Glamper segment is for dogs who live in beautiful homes yet need their own cosy and comfortable corner. The tent made of a stronger and harder material looks insanely cute and can be customised. We now have cushioned indoor tents, not only for dogs but even for cats! Shaped like teepee tents these are also perfect for indoor, apartment and high-rise homes! As we grow, we hope to provide comfort to more pets and streeties!
